Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs)
Advanced Dining Reservations can be made 180 days in advance.
If you are staying at a WDW Resort then you can make reservations for the first 10 days of your stay at the 180 day mark, thereafter you can book each additional day one day at a time. If you are staying off-site then bookings will open up one day at a time from the 180 day mark.
In advance of your stay you will need to have researched the various restaurants and character meals available. Some of these dining experiences are in very high demand and are fully booked 180 days in advance.
How do I book a restaurant?
You can book online via the My Disney Experience app or on the website through My Disney Experience at the 180 day mark or thereafter. Online reservations go live at 11am (GMT/BST).
If you want to book over the phone then you can call the Disney bookings team (0800 028 0778) at 12pm (GMT/BST) at the 180 day mark or thereafter.
What information do I need to make a booking?
If you are booking online you will need the log on account details for the lead booker, a credit card, the number of people the reservation is for and the date/time of the reservation. You may need to be flexible to ensure you are able to secure a booking.
If you are ringing the call centre then you will need to provide them with your holiday reservation, a credit card, the number of people the reservation is for and the date/time of the reservation.
Will I be charged to make a booking?
Most reservations are free to place but you must provide a credit card to charge against if you do not turn up to (or cancel) a reservation you have placed.
For Cinderella’s Royal Table, the full cost is payable at the time you place your reservation ($80 per adult, $65 per child/2 table service credits per person).
Which restaurants can I book?
AllEars net provide an amazing list of Walt Disney World restaurants, menus, pricing, etc so I recommend researching the restaurants there.
The information can also be found through the My Disney Experience app and the Walt Disney World website.
As a general rule, most table service/fine dining restaurants accept reservations and quick service restaurants do not. However, the following quick service restaurants can be booked:
- Be Our Guest (Breakfast and Lunch are QS only, dinner is Table Service)
- ABC Commisery
- Pizzafari
- Restaurantosaurus
Do I need to make reservations in advance?
Not for all restaurants, some will have some sort of availability on the day, also you may be lucky enough on the day to grab a cancellation providing you are flexible with dates and times.
If you’re set on eating at Be Our Guest or Cinderella’s Royal Table then my advice would be to make the reservation as soon as your dates become available.
Are there any pre-requisites to booking?
It helps to have an idea of where you will be on any given day so you can plan your reservations around where you are likely to be.
In order to visit any restaurants in the parks you will need a valid park ticket for the date of your reservation.
A credit card is required to secure your booking, this is only charged if you do not turn up to a reservation or do not cancel it in the cancellation period. Cinderella’s Royal Table is the exception to this, for booking Cinderella’s Royal Table you will need to pay in full at the time of your booking. Charges are made in US Dollars.
