Visiting Butlin’s during COVID19

Butlin’s are set to reopen on 24th July and there are a few changes in place for guests.

Great news if like us your planning a trip over the summer. I have checked out a sample itinerary with bated breath expecting it to look empty but to my delight founf they have a full on schedule of activities planned.

Bad news if your family love the swimming pool though is that under the new changes families will be restricted to two 90 minute sessions over the duration of a 4 night break. This slots need to be booked on the Butlin’s app or by contacting Butlin’s directly but they are only taking calls for breaks up until 10 August presently

There are a range of activities (both paid for and free) which will need to be booked in advance and you can do this on the app 24 hours before arrival. The full list of activities can be found on the Butlin’s website.

Shows will still go ahead but on the outdoor stages rather than in the Pavillion/Centre Stage.

Fairgrounds will be operating but at reduced capacity.

They are contacting guests in order of date to explain the changes in place and also to find out if you still want to keep your reservation or change it.

They are reducing capacity on resort so I am expecting that some people’s breaks will be cancelled but no word yet from Butlin’s on whether it will be necessary and what criteria they will using to cancel breaks.

Fingers crossed everyone willing to go during these times with the restrictions in place will be accommodated. After missing out on Disney this year, I really hope we get to go on this break!
