Day 3 – Blizzard Beach/Disney Springs
So today would have been a lovely relaxing day at one of the water parks. I’ve got Blizzard Beach on the schedule but in all honesty either one would have been fine and we would have probably gone to either one based on which bus comes first.
I didn’t meticulously research the water parks as we would have done both on this holiday but today was all about relaxing, going with the flow, eating when and where we fancied and just resting our feet.
Assuming we were up early with jet lag we’d have aimed to get to the water park for opening time (9am), got changed and put all our valuables in a locker, found a sun bed to use as a base for our belongings and then spent a good half-hour or so in the lazy river.
I really hate any sort of thrill ride, including water slides so I would have likely spent the day in the wave pool, riding the lazy river and taking our daughter to the toddler areas while the other half visits the faster slides.
For lunch we’d have eaten something light at the water park as in the evening we had planned a trip to Disney Springs.
Fast Passes
We didn’t book any as no intention of visiting the parks today.
Dining
We’d have used snack credits on breakfast and snacks at the water park and then gone to The Polite Pig in Disney Springs for dinner. We would have gone for the Butchers board for 2 with sweet potato tots and crispy sprouts (shared between the three of us) with mac and cheese side.
Dining plan credits used:
- 1 QS credit per person.
- 2 snack credits per person.
