Day 2 – Magic Kingdom

Today (would have) started early with breakfast at Be Our Guest at 8:10am. We ended up booking this restaurant three times in all across the two-weeks. I am a huge Beauty and the Beast fan and the idea of dining in the Beast’s castle and it being included on the quick service dining plan seemed like a win-win and would give me the opportunity to see the three different dining rooms. I would have either had the French toast or the cronut.

We would have aimed to finish breakfast before park opening and then headed to Seven Dwarves Mine Train to get in the queue before the park opens as this is one of the most popular rides in the park. If we were late or from breakfast it wouldn’t have mattered too much as we have a FastPass for this ride later in the holiday.

Our first FastPass was for Enchanted Tales with Belle (9:30-10:30).

After this we would have tried to fit in Winnie the Pooh, Barnstormer and Dumbo depending on wait times but making sure we finished in time to grab a LeFou’s Brew from Gaston’s Tavern and head to the Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party at 11am.

Our next FastPass was scheduled for 12pm and was for Peter Pan’s Flight which we probably would have tried to ride towards the end of the hour slot so we could go straight into our final FastPass; Journey of the Little Mermaid at 1pm.

We would use any time between shows and FastPasses to ride any of the rides with no/small wait times (It’s a Small World, Prince Charming Carousel, Mad Hatter’s Tea Party). After the third FastPass I would have used the My Disney Experience app to look for available FastPasses for Princess meet and greets.

Providing we weren’t too tired, we would stick around for the Festival of Fantasy Parade before heading back to our resort hotel to rest.

Dinner tonight was one of the few character meals we have booked for this holiday – Story Book dining at Artist Point with Snow White, the Evil Queen, Dopey and Grumpy.

Quite a full on day and it’s probable we wouldn’t have been able to do all the rides listed but any we didn’t do we’d look for additional FastPasses for on our next visit to Magic Kingdom.

• 13:10-14:10 – Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid

Dining

We had Advanced Dining Reservations for:

• 8:10 – Be Our Guest
• 19:05 – Story Book Dining

Dining plan credits used:

• 3 QS credits per person.

We would have paid out of pocket for Story Book Dining which would have been $180 for the three of us but if you have the Disney Dining Plan then it counts as 1 TS credit per person.
