Dates for your diary

After you have booked and received your confirmation you need to put the following dates in your diary.

180 days before you go

You can make your restaurant reservations! You don’t need to book all restaurants but most character meals need to be booked in advance as do many of the premium restaurants on the resort. Restaurants we’re definitely going to reserve are Be Our Guest and Cinderella’s Royal Table.

8 weeks before you go

Balance is due (if you booked through Walt Disney Travel Company directly).

60/30 days before you go

60/30 days depends on whether you are staying on the resort. If you are staying on the resort you can make FastPass+ reservations 60 days before you go (you can book up to 3 per day included with your stay). If you’re not staying on the resort then you can make FastPass+ reservation 30 days in advance.

It’s worth doing a little investigation which rides can be booked on a FastPass+ and which of those generally have long wait times and use your FastPass+ passes for those. For us we’ll definitely be using a FastPass+ for Frozen Ever After. I’m still in the process of compiling which rides I will use my FastPasses for so will post a blog post in due course.
