Peppa Pig World/Paulton’s Park, Romsey (Hampshire)
This is number one in our list of family attractions.
We first took our daughter when she was 2 and then again when she was 4 and she loved it both times.
Both times we found the park to be extremely clean, well maintained and well organised.
The second time we went was during the COVIID 19 pandemic. We found the layout of the queuing systems easy to maintain social distancing and saw the staff wiping down the rides thoroughly at set intervals (but not after each use as at some places we have been). The ride times for the attractions in Peppa Pig World were about the same as they were pre-COVID19 but looked much longer as a result of the 2 metre queuing distance between families.
The theming in Peppa Pig World is done amazingly and looks like it could be a scene in Peppa Pig.
Children have the chance to meet Peppa and George and there are plenty of rides which are suitable for the entire family to ride on (including babes in arms/children under 1m who get free entry).

If you have older children they may not be thrilled at spending the day in Peppa Pig World but the rest of Paulton’s Park has bigger theme park rides to appeal to older children.
Both times we have been, the ride waiting times for some of the Peppa Pig World rides can be in excess of an hour. I recommend downloading the app and using that to keep an eye on when waiting times are shorter for the rides with the longest queues (Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter. Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club and George’s Dinosaur Adventure).

Most people going to Paulton’s Park head straight to Peppa Pig World once inside the park, so shortest wait times are right at the start of the day (if you’re one of the first through the gate) or later in the day (near closing time).
Wait times for the rides outside of Peppa Pig World are short but we have only ever gone during term time so maybe they would be longer in the school holidays.
There are a few food options if you’re eating at the park – a big canteen near the entrance/exit plus a few smaller takeaway options around the park.
You can pre-order packed lunches/afternoon tea through the website when purchasing your park tickets which will be ready for you to collect in the park at your chosen time.
There are lots of covered picnic benches if you want to bring your own food too.
Cost: £35 for visitors over 1m (under 1m free). Group tickets can be purchased, prices vary.
